In the coming week New Adventures & Re:Bourne are working with the English National Ballet School, in London, Legat School of Contemporary Dance and Ballet, in Sussex, and embarking on a yearlong project with right2dance, in Paisley, Scotland. These projects will give a range of young people from different backgrounds an insight to the work of Matthew Bourne and New Adventures. We’re also preparing for this year's Dance for Life programme with Dementia Pathfinders, using dance to support those living with dementia.
On Sunday 16 October we're also celebrating the work of Peter Wilson, who is stepping down as CEO of Norwich Theatre Royal, a venue that has presented many New Adventures productions. Legacy, an all-male youth dance company in Norwich, which was formed following the success of Lord of the Flies in 2014, will be performing an excerpt from the show. This was specially requested by Peter who sees the production as a highlight during his time with the theatre.
