Poppy Barnes

Poppy Barnes is a freelance dance artist based in London and Northumberland. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dance, graduating with a first-class BA (Hons) in Ballet Education and the Licentiate of the RAD in 2019. Since graduating, her practice has evolved to include contemporary and improvisational dance styles, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to include a range of art forms. Poppy’s interest lies in using dance and art to develop connections between people and places. This was the inspiration behind her blog, Between the Art. In September 2021, Poppy began her MFA in Dance and Embodied Practice at Roehampton University.
