Martina Ghinetti
Overture 2021-22 Cohort
Martina Ghinetti has been learning Bharatanatyam since 2013 under Guru Krishna Zivraj-Nair at Sanskruti Cambridge, where she is also a Bharatanatyam Teaching Assistant. She completed her Arangetram (solo debut performance) in 2016. Martina also trained in Rhythmic Gymnastics from 2003 until 2013. Martina likes expressing herself through dance because it is a universal language transcending all barriers. Her Bharatanatyam aspirations include deepening her knowledge of the art form, learning to choreograph on contemporary themes using Bharatanatyam vocabulary and teaching students. Martina is looking forward to connecting with other artists on the Overture programme and making a difference for local communities.
