Kayleigh Oborka-Letman

With a rich background in both performance and teaching, my journey as a dance educator has been profoundly shaped by my early experience with Matthew Bourne's New Adventures Company. From May 2018 to October 2019, I had the distinct privilege of performing as a Junior Company Dancer in the premier production of Matthew Bourne's Romeo and Juliet in 2019. Having trained in dance since the age of 12 under esteemed instructors, I transitioned into teaching with a deep commitment to nurturing creativity and self-expression. Over the past three years, I have dedicated myself to developing innovative dance programs and curricula at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle. My goal is to ignite a lifelong passion for the arts in my students by fostering a dynamic, enthusiastic, and supportive learning environment. I strive to inspire young learners to explore their creativity and reach their fullest potential through the transformative power of dance education.
