Jodie Cole

Jodie Cole is a working-class choreographer, facilitator, and performer and she was Jerwood Creative Fellow at Extraordinary Bodies from 2021 to 2022. Jodie creates joyful spaces for everyone to be part of, she’s a movement “sponteneyaniser”, and she brings performance to unexpected places. She works in the community and has extensive experience teaching in SEND settings (special educational needs and disabilities). She mentors dance facilitators and currently runs workshops and movement sessions across the UK. Jodie is thrilled to have been selected for the overture programme and is looking forward to sharing practice, further developing her inclusive approach, and building community dance connections.
