Emilie Barton leads a mixed career as a Dorset based dance practitioner, facilitator, and dance artist - alongside working in Arts Marketing, currently at Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Following her graduation from Roehampton University with a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies, Emilie ignited her career in the dance sector by performing in various works and exploring somatic practices.  Emilie now runs her own embodied movement classes called ‘Dancing Free’, a merger of guided improvisation, storytelling, meditative relaxation, and great music. Emilie is intrinsically interested in embodied movement, performance, and voice where she strives to empower others, champion the arts, and tell stories through dance and theatre.
