Eman Bhatti

Inclusion, Access and Data Manager

Eman Bhatti [em'n bar-tea]
[She/Her/Hers]

Eman joined New Adventures as Executive Assistant in January 2020 before moving into the role of Inclusion, Access and Development Coordinator in October 2021, and now Inclusion, Access and Data Manager.

She is passionate about reducing barriers to access in the arts and her work aims to ensure that all of New Adventures' productions, activity and working practices are as open and accessible to as many people as possible. She leads on the coordination of accessible performances and digital content; works to embed inclusive working practices; and programmes training and learning opportunities on a range of EDI topics. Data collection and analysation both supports this existing work and informs further progress.

Beyond New Adventures, Eman is Impact Lead at Spectra Arts CIC, a creative collective rooted in radical inclusion, people and place. She is also an Access and Inclusion Advocate at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Prior to New Adventures, Eman worked in finance and admin roles at Paines Plough, a touring theatre company. She has a qualification in Level 2 British Sign Language, a small jewellery business, and a little allotment full of rhubarb.
