Angela McEvilly

Placement Coordinator

Angela worked as a Theatre Sound Operator/ Designer for many years.

She toured extensively across the Uk and internationally with dozens of shows and enjoyed several years of working on Matthew Bourne’s productions including the original Edward Scissorhands, Play without words, Nutcracker, The Car Man and Highland Fling.

She was Head of Sound at Regents Park Open Air Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre, she also worked at the National Theatre for many years.

After taking a break from theatre to raise two amazing girls, she became the Company Administrator for Theatre and Live Events Production Services Limited.

Angela is delighted to have taken on the role of Placements Coordinator for New Adventures.

She is dedicated to opening up opportunities in technical theatre and is excited to be able to give the next generation the chance to experience how amazing it is to work in live theatre and the importance of these roles within the theatre community.

Angela is a Black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is currently working towards her Purple belt in Karate.
