The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle announced the recipients of its 49th annual awards for distinguished achievement in theatre on 19 March 2018 in Pasadena and we're delighted to share that Matthew Bourne's production of The Red Shoes was the winner of two awards.
Matthew Bourne won the LADCC Choreography Award and Lez Brotherston for Costume Design. The Red Shoes visited the Ahmanson Theatre, which is part of the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, for a three week run in 2017 as part of our US tour of the show. Matthew is also an Associate Artist for the Center Theatre Group and we have over a 20 year history with the theatre. Matthew Bourne's Cinderella is due to visit Los Angeles, returning to the Ahmanson next year from 5 February - 10 March 2019.
The Red Shoes has now received six awards!
