We are thrilled to announce that New Adventures has received five nominations for the National Dance Awards, including Outstanding Company. We are so proud that three of our dancers have also received nominations. Paris Fitzpatrick, who is currently touring internationally with the company of Romeo and Juliet, is nominated for Best Male Dancer and Outstanding Male Dancer (Modern) for his performance of Romeo. Liam Mower is nominated for Outstanding Male Dancer (Modern) for his performance as Edward in Edward Scissorhands. Cordelia Braithwaite has been nominated for Outstanding Female Dancer (Modern) for her portrayal of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.
This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our outstanding reach as a company, with 155 performances of Edward Scissorhands taking place since opening in Plymouth on 20 November 2023. The nationwide tour that has seen the town of Hope Springs visiting audiences in Birmingham, Newcastle, and Bristol - to name but a few! Romeo and Juliet had an outstanding 125 performances in 2023, and has now been performed a further 65 times internationally in 2024 in Los Angeles, Paris, and Tokyo!

Winners of the National Dance Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony held on Monday 3 June at The Coronet Theatre.
