Congratulations to all nominated in for the 17th National Dance Awards, due to take place on Monday 6 February 2017. Amongst the nominations is previous New Adventures dancer, Daniel Collins for the Outstanding Male Performance (Modern) award for his role as Jekyll in Jekyll & Hyde for The Old Vic/The McOnie Company. Danny was most recently in Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty which toured in 2015/16. Jekyll & Hyde was also choreographed by Drew McOnie, who has a long relationship with Matthew Bourne having previously danced in many New Adventures productions.
Also nominated for Best Independent Company is Sweetshop Revolution, a dance theatre company artistically directed by New Adventures Choreographer Award 2013/14 winner, Sally Marie.
