LGBTQ+ Swan Lake Community Response Piece

25 January 2025 - 8 March 2025
Performers are in a defensive flock formation, with dancers dressed as swans in white feathered trousers and The Prince in the centre, on a stage set with ethereal blue lighting and a backdrop featuring a moonlit sky and silhouetted trees.

For the second year we are working with Farnham Maltings and Surrey Libraries to create an original movement performance with LGBTQ+ adults (18+) based on the themes explored in our touring show.

A background in dance is not necessary, and we encourage disabled participants to take part. You just need to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community living or working in Surrey and interested in creating and performing a movement piece. Please note we will also accept applications from people living in Berkshire or Hampshire, though priority will be given to Surrey residents. We are committed to removing barriers and therefore will try to accommodate any access requirements you might have if you are successful. There is no fee to take part in the project and we can assist with transport costs if needed.
