A unique opportunity to work with leading New Adventures dance artists and explore movement from our World Premiere production of Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet.
Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet is a passionate and contemporary re-imagining of Shakespeare’s classic love story. Confined against their will by a society that seeks to divide, our two young lovers must follow their hearts as they risk everything to be together.
This one-day workshop will be led by longstanding New Adventures dancers and include class, repertoire from the show and creative tasks that give an insight into how we create movement. The workshop will finish with a Q&A with principal cast members and includes a ticket to the 7.30pm performance of the show at Sadler's Wells that evening on Saturday 10 August.
Places are strictly limited to 30 to ensure an intimate experience for all participants.
Participants must be 16+ and be in full-time vocational training, recent graduates or professional dancers.
New Adventures is committed to ensuring our workshops are accessible to people of all backgrounds. Subsidised places are available for those who would otherwise find the price prohibitive to access. If you would like to apply for a subsidised place please write to us in confidence at email@example.com explaining why you would like to receive a subsidised place, with the subject line ‘Masterclass' by Monday 15 July. All applicants will have their applications considered and the management's decision is final. If you have any other access needs please let us know.
