Head of Development

Working closely with the Executive Director and fundraising consultants, the Head of Development will support Matthew Bourne’s artistic vision by working to maximise fundraised income. The post holder will build and develop relationships with trusts and foundations and individual supporters whilst maintaining an overview of the overall fundraising strategy. 

This is a new role created as New Adventures embarks on an increased fundraising drive to support the growth of our talent development programme and our engagement work with young people and communities.  This is an exciting time to join New Adventures.  Over the next five years we aim to deepen engagement in key regions, visit more venues, discover and nurture more new talent and develop new audiences. With the support of external fundraising consultants we recently held our first corporate cultivation event, we have increased our applications to trusts and foundations and we have recently launched our first individual donor scheme – The Discovery Circle. The Executive Assistant, also a new role, will provide support around fundraising through the planning of events and the administration of the donor scheme.
