Applications are now open for A Summer Adventure 2019. This three-day intensive is a brilliant opportunity for dancers to delve into our World Premiere production of Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet.
We are looking for 30 dancers in vocational training or recent graduates to join us on 23-25 August at Lanterns Studios in London.
Based on Romeo and Juliet, currently touring the UK, these workshop days will be led by Etta Murfitt (Associate Artistic Director), Arielle Smith (Young Associate Choreographer) and Paul Smethurst (Rehearsal Director, Young Cast). The three days will explore the repertoire and creative processes of the show to discover the characters, narrative and unique language of the production. The aim of this experience is to give a deepened understanding of the company’s signature style and work ethic in an intensive environment.
To apply please send a cover letter explaining why you would like to participate and how you would benefit from the experience, CV and headshot to firstname.lastname@example.org
All applications must be received by: 14 June, midday
