Summer Festivals 2017
Following our successful workshops at festivals in 2016, engaging with over 1000 people, we headed to even more festivals this year. Over 1200 people took part in our inclusive workshops for a range of ages, that got people moving and being creative, and we performed an adaptation Country from Matthew Bourne's Town and Country to nearly 4000 people!

GREENWICH+DOCKLANDS INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL

We performed Country for Greenwich+Docklands International Festival to almost 1000 people, as part of their annual outdoor dance programme, Dancing City, in Canary Wharf. Since 1996 GDIF has produced hundreds of inspiring and spell-binding street theatre shows in Greenwich and Tower Hamlets.

We delivered a Swan Lake and a Cinderella based workshop at Henley Festival. Henley Festival takes place over five days, celebrating the best of UK & international music and arts. It's a place to soak up the atmosphere and be entertained whilst experiencing a vibrant programme from pop to world music, classical to jazz.

On 15 July we performed Country twice, on the Waterfront Stage to around 3000 people, as well as delivering a workshop based on the performance to hundreds of people. Latitude Festival is an annual arts festival that takes place in Henham Park, near Southwold, Suffolk. It was first held in July 2006 and has since won the UK Festival Awards ‘Line Up of the Year’ award in 2013 and 2015. We have visited Latitude many times in the past, where we have performed a duet from Swan Lake and also Spitfire!
DEER SHED FESTIVAL 8 – THE WILDERWILD

We returned to Deer Shed Festival for a second year running and delivered two workshops, one based on The Red Shoes and the other on Cinderella. Deer Shed Festival is described as the best festival in music, arts and science for the whole family, set in beautiful North Yorkshire parkland.

After delivering workshops to over 800 people last year we returned to WOMAD festival on 29 July to deliver three workshops based on Country, Swan Lake and Cinderella! Celebrating its 35th year in the UK WOMAD is already one of the longest established cultural events in the world and have hosted festivals in more than 30 countries, enjoyed by a collective audience of millions.

On 29 July we were over in Hertfordshire at Standon Calling delivering two workshops based on Country and Cinderella. Standon Calling is an independent festival with big acts, breaking bands, fun for families and late night partying.

We headed down to Dorset on 30 July to deliver a workshop on The Red Shoes and one on Cinderella. Camp Bestival is a multi-award winning festival that combines an all-encompassing family festival experience with an action packed camping holiday; something that they like to call a Festi-Holiday!
