A unique opportunity to work with leading New Adventures artists and explore movement from one of our most popular and beloved productions, Matthew Bourne’s Cinderella – a thrilling and evocative love story, set in London during the Second World War, which forms part of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations
Open to those aged 18+ with little or no dance experience, this is the perfect chance for New Adventures fans who have dreamt of experiencing what it is like to create material for our shows or learn some of the choreography. Come along and explore, create and express yourselves in a fun, relaxed and friendly environment.
This three-hour workshop will involve getting your bodies moving with a guided warm-up, games, learning repertoire from the show and creative tasks to give an insight into how the company works during rehearsals to create storytelling through movement. The workshop will end with a Q&A with members of the company.
Places are strictly limited to 30 to ensure an intimate experience for all participants.
New Adventures are committed to ensuring our workshops are accessible to people of all backgrounds. Subsidised places are available at each workshop for those who would otherwise find the price prohibitive to access. If you would like to apply for a subsidised place please write to us in confidence at [email protected] explaining why you would like to receive a subsidised place by 8th December, with the subject line ‘Cinderella Workshop for Adults’. All applicants will have their applications considered and the management's decision is final. If you have any other access needs please let us know.
