The 2009/10 Swan Lake Tour gave it's final and 200th performance in Tokyo today (Sunday 27th June).  The tour began at Sadlers Wells Theatre last December and has played throughout the UK, Athens, Seoul and Tokyo.

The show marked the final performances of long-standing Swan Lake Company members Gavin Persand, Paul Smethurst and Chloe Wilkinson, who are all leaving to join the company of Matthew Bourne's Cinderella later this year. Also leaving to join the Cinderella company are Sam Archer, Kerry Biggin, Danny Collins and Ashley Shaw who all made their Swan Lake debuts this season. Farewell also to Charlotte Broom who has played both The Queen and The Hungarian Princess during the run.

There were cheers, tears, ovations and even a "Feather-Drop" for the final show played in front of the ever-loyal Japanese audience at the Aoyama Theatre this afternoon...
