Reece Causton

Early Adventures (2017)

Reece began studying Drama at the age of 12 at Footlights Performing Arts in Norfolk. At 16 he started training in Ballet and Contemporary dance, before joining Central School of Ballet in 2010.  During his time there he performed with Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch at Sadler’s Wells and toured the UK with Ballet Central. He graduated in 2013 with a BA (Hons) Degree.

Upon graduation Reece joined New Adventures for Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, touring nationally and internationally.  He has since worked with a variety of choreographers and companies, including C-12 Dance Theatre (Watson, Shhh!) Grange Park Opera (Fiddler on the Roof, Onegin, Fiddler on the Roof at the BBC Proms) Yorke Dance Project (repertoire by Robert Cohan & Sir Kenneth MacMillan) and Rosie Kay Dance Company (5 Soldiers).

As well as performing, Reece teaches ballet and contemporary dance and is involved with the educational arm of New Adventures, Re:Bourne.
