DEBUT WITH NEW ADVENTURES
LORD OF THE FLIES (2017) - Edgar/Stranger
Kyall started dancing in 2009, spending four years with the NSW based youth company fLiNG Physical Theatre.
In 2015 he graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts, receiving the Creative Scholarship for Disadvantaged Undergraduate Students and the Orloff Family Charitable Trust Award for Most Outstanding Dancer of the 2015 graduates.
In 2014 he represented VCA, performing at the Malaysian Tari Festival in Kuala Lumpur and in 2015 choreographed his work "Pit" as part of the VCA Dance season Dance On. In that same year he performed in Antony Hamiltons work "Nyx" as part of the Melbourne Festival.
In 2013, alongside his VCA studies, he joined the Melbourne based youth dance company Yellow Wheel. In 2016 returning to co-choreograph the full length work "Quark" on the company, alongside Artistic Director Adam Wheeler.
In April of 2016 Kyall performed his solo work "Ore" and taught workshops in Japan alongside Macoba Dance Company.
In 2014 and 2016 he traveled to Casuarina Senior College in Darwin to teach and choreograph, and since has also worked with various schools and community groups around Melbourne, and greater Victoria.
He will be performing in Lord of the Flies as a professional cast member.
Choreographers he has worked with either through youth companies, university or professionally include Lee Pemberton, Adam Wheeler, Antony Hamilton, Don Asker, Phillip Adams, Lina Limosani, Gideon Obarzanek and Rebecca Hilton.
