Daisy May Kemp

Born in Hertfordshire, Daisy began her dance training with Elizabeth Harrison FISTD whilst also attending The Young Place. She graduated Bird College in 2005. Daisy has come from the recent international tour of Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty.
Previously, Daisy has been Assistant Choreographer for Robert Carsen’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Festival ‘Aix En Provence' and for Bergen National Opera. Previously, Revival Choreographer on Glyndebourne’s touring production of La Traviata, and Assistant to the Tour Director on Lord of the Flies for New Adventures and Re:Bourne.
Stage performances for Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures company include: Joyce Monroe, Esmerelda Evercreech and Tiffany Covett in Edward Scissorhands, Queen Eleanor and Miss Maddox in Seeping Beauty, Glenda in Play Without Words, Mrs Dross/Queen Candy and Lotte Marshmallow in Nutcracker! and The Hungarian, German and Italian Princess’ in various national and International tours of Swan Lake. Dancer in La Traviata for Glyndebourne Festival choreographed by Aletta Collins. Dancer in La Cenerentola for Garsington Opera choreographed by Arthur Pita. Hermoine in A Winter’s Tale (The Place) and Die Fledermaus (The Actors’ Church, Covent Garden) both choreographed by Vanessa Mildenberg.
Film credits include Street Dance 3D The Movie, Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty, appearing as Miss Maddox and Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, filmed in 3D at Sadler’s Wells, appearing as The Hungarian Princess, Butterfly, Fan Dancer and Bag Lady.
